1. Complete a visual inspection of all moving parts, bushings, hoses and hose clamps. If you see something out of place, give Summerset Boat Lifts a call.
2. Check all nuts, blots and hose clamps with a wrench for tightness, ensuring they comply with torque specifications.
3. Remove the motor cover and clean out any debris that may have gotten in there.
4. Check carpeted bunks for worn areas and tears, replace them as necessary.
5. Inspect condition of wood bunks and replace them if any are cracked or split.
During the off-season or extended periods of no boating activity, you should occasionally operate your lift to keep it a peak performance. By simply running the lift for about a minute in each direction, you will keep the motor clean and bearings evenly lubricated.
