About The Dream Factory
The Dream Factory is a national, volunteer-based non-profit organization, dedicated to granting dreams to children (ages 3 through 18) whose lives are threatened by a critical or chronic illness. It is the second largest children's wish-granting organization in the United States with 36 chapters. They've been awarded a Four Star rating from Charity Navigator, the highest rating possible.The Lake of the Ozarks chapter was founded in 1982, and since then has granted 358 dreams in the Tri-County area. Of the funds raised, 90% of them stay local.
