Ha Ha Tonka Springs Cove

The Mini-Shootout is where remote-control boats a fraction of the size of powerboats race at speeds in the triple digits! These races are thrilling to watch as the machines go faster than many of the big boats ten times their size at the Shootout! On August 21-23, Mini Shootout racers go head-to-head against each other, reaching speeds of over 100 mph in six different classes, with Splash Runs, Bracket Racing, Exhibition Races and Powder Puff Racing. Check out the schedule online for Class Runs, the Bounty Race and Top Gun racing times. Races are held in front of the Ha Ha Tonka Springs.

Friday – Meet and greet at Bridal Cave / Thunder Mountain Park.

Saturday – 9am to 5pm

Sunday – 9am to noon. Awards following.

Mini Shootout Driver Meet & Greet

Bridal Cave/ Thunder Mountain Park

From 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, come meet the drivers and see up close some of the fastest remote control boats in the nation the night before the mini shootout starts at Ha Ha Tonka. There will be music, food and a portion of every cave tour is donated to the Shootout.

Shootout Treasure Hunt

Storm the beach to dig up family fun and tons of buried treasure. The Great Shootout Treasure Hunt brings hundreds of kids and parents together to build memories and comb the beaches of Captain Ron’s at 5 p.m., Monday, Aug. 24, 2020.
