May is National Water Safety Month and we want to point out a few safety factors you should keep in mind, especially if you're traveling to watch fireworks on the water:
- Always make sure you have enough life jackets on board for every passenger.
- Have a designated captain.
- Bring plenty of water to keep your crew properly hydrated.
- Know where the fire extinguisher is on board at all times.
- Take time navigating to and from firework displays.
- Refresh on the rules of the water before entering a crowded space, like a firework display.
