The Lake of the Ozarks is a popular destination for fishermen, and this weekend is no exception. Two Crappie Tournaments are taking place at the lake this weekend on Saturday, October 8th, and Sunday, October 9th. Hosted by two different establishments, the events are open to all fishermen and promise a day filled with fun, excitement, and plenty of crappies. Cash prizes and awards will be given away, so grab your fishing rod and head to the lake. Summerset Boat Lifts has all the info you need to know for this weekend’s Crappie Tournaments!
What are Crappies?
Crappies are a type of fish found in many different bodies of water. They are typically about 9-14 inches long but can grow up to 18 inches in length. Crappies have a black lateral line that runs along their sides and a white underside. They are popular game fish because they are both tasty and challenging to catch.

80% of the total entry fees collected will be distributed to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
