Alhonna Fall Classic Fishing Tournament

Alhonna Resort's Annual Fall Classic Open Buddy Bass Tournament is a 2 day bass tournament with 100% payback of all entry fees. This year's event will take place October 28 & 29. The tournament gives anglers the chance to enjoy brilliant autumn colors and fantastic fall fishing at the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. Keep reading for more details about this year's event.

Tournament Details

The entry fee for the 2017 Alhonna Fall Classic is $110 per team. Tournament registration fees include Also included is a complimentary pre-take off breakfast and coffee at Bobber’s Restaurant at 6 am on Saturday and Sunday mornings for all participants. The tournament hours are from 7 am to 4 pm on Saturday, and 7 am to 2 pm on Sunday. Cash prizes will be given out following the weigh-in on Sunday.

Fall Fishing at Lake of the Ozarks

October is arguably one of the most beautiful times of year at the Lake of the Ozarks. It's the peak of the season, where autumn leaves are turning in color. The scenery combined with generally pleasant daytime temperatures make it the perfect time for a fishing trip. During the month of October, you're likely to find bass in their usual fall pattern. Unlike September when fish are found in the back of the creeks, this month they'll be scattered throughout the lake with no predominant location. You will also find that forage fish, or shad, are spreading out and can be found just about everywhere.

The Fall Classic Open Buddy Bass Tournament is in One Week!

Alhonna Resort's Annual Fall Classic Open Buddy Bass Tournament is happening October 29-30. This 2-day bass tournament at the Lake of the Ozarks gives anglers the chance to enjoy brilliant autumn colors and fantastic fall fishing.

Event Details

Date: October 29-30, 2016
Time: 7 AM to 4 PM Saturday and 7 AM to 2 PM on Sunday
Place: Alhonna Resort
Entry Fee: $100 per Boat, with $10 optional Big Bass

The tournament entry fee includes a complimentary breakfast at 6AM each morning for tournament participants at Bobber's Restaurant located in the resort.

Tournament Awards

The tournament offers a 100% payback of all entry fees. Tournament prizes will be awarded directly following the weigh in on Sunday, from 3-4 PM at the resort. The cash prizes will be divided as follows:

1st Place - 20%
2nd Place - 15%
3rd Place - 10%
4th Place - 9%
5th Place - 8%
6th Place - 7%
7th Place - 6%
8-12th Place - 4% each
13th Place - 5%

The optional Big Bass prizes will be 50% for 1st place, 30% for 2nd place and 20% for third place.
