Versailles City Park

The city of Versailles will light up its city park for the Unity Circle of Lights from Nov. 26 - Jan. 1. The holiday light park is named after the "Unity Circle," a monument erected at the park entrance to show cooperation among various entities in the community. The Unity Circle of Lights is located at the junction of Highways 5 and 52 and will feature as many as 40 lighted displays, including several animated holiday scenes for the family. The park is open from dark until midnight and admission is free.

Enchanted Village of Lights

The City of Laurie presents the Enchanted Village of Lights at the Laurie Fairgrounds. The Enchanted Village of Lights is one of the largest drive-through holiday light parks in Mid-Missouri. There is no charge to drive through the Enchanted Village, but any donations are greatly appreciated.

What does a De-Icer Do?

A dock de-icer sits in the water and pumps warm water from below the surface around your dock moving. This warmer water movement helps prevent ice from forming near your dock. Ice can cause all sorts of issues for docks, boats, and lifts, especially in the winter months when many issues go unnoticed. 

REASON #1: Reduce the Risk of Structural Damage

Freezing water can wreak havoc on the structure of your dock. From twisting the bracing to applying so much pressure a vital piece gives way, it's best to keep ice away from your dock.

Ice forming against the side of your dock can lead to strain on the free movement a dock is supposed to have. If this free movement is limited, it can potentially put pressure on your dock.
