Deck the Docks Holiday Lights Cruises

The 6th Annual Deck the Docks Festival of Lights to benefit Dogwood Animal Shelter is upon us! Starting November 25, the beautiful Celebration Yacht will embark on a cruise each Wednesday, Friday and Saturday to tour sparkly docks and lakefront homes decorated for the holidays!

About Deck the Docks

Deck the Docks is a non-profit event that encourages local residents to light up their docks and lakefront homes at the Lake of the Ozarks, bringing awareness to homeless pets. Proceeds from the cruises over the holiday season are donated to Dogwood Animal Shelter, a no-kill shelter at the Lake of the Ozarks. In 2015, the cruises generated close to $30,000 for the shelter.

Cruise Details

Tickets are $25 each. Complimentary appetizers donated by local restaurants, as well as live entertainment donated by local entertainers, are included. All passengers must book reservations in advance. Tickets may be reserved through Celebration Cruises by calling 573-480-3212 or on their website at www.cruiselakeoftheozarks.com.

Cruise Dates

All Deck the Docks Cruises begin boarding at 5:30 PM and will depart at 6:00 PM. The cruises are approximately 3 hours long, and will be back at the dock between 9:00 PM and 9:30 PM.

About Dogwood Animal Shelter

Starting as a small facility in 1976, Dogwood Animal Shelter has offered not only a place for homeless pets, but also low cost spay and neuters. In 1977, the board of directors declared Dogwood a no-kill facility. The long awaited new facility was built in Osage Beach in 2005. Come Aboard the Celebration for a Deck the Docks Cruise!

It's that time of year again - Christmas is just around the corner and people are already putting up their Christmas lights! What's the best way to check out all the great Christmas decorations around the Lake? By cruising around the Lake of the Ozarks on one of the 5th Annual Deck the Docks Cruises!

About Deck the Docks

Deck the Docks is an annual event benefiting Dogwood Animal Shelter. Live entertainment and appetizers will be donated by different local entertainers and restaurants each night. See the beautiful Christmas lights all along the shoreline of the Lake!

Deck the Docks Benefactors' Cruise

The Deck the Docks benefactors' cruise is scheduled for Tuesday, December 1st from 5:30-8 PM. There will be a 6 course sit-down dinner catered by Savannah Grille with entertainment by Dale Blue. Tickets are $125 per person which includes beer, house wine and well drinks. All proceeds go to the Dogwood Animal Shelter.
