Summerset Boat Lifts is Gearing Up for Lake Race 2016

Lake Race is back, and Summerset Boat Lifts is ready for another great year of powerboat racing! From the new festival of speed to the fun run on Sunday, the rest of this week is filled with festivities for the entire family to enjoy! Check out the event details here and we'll see you there!

June 2 - Festival of Speed

Enjoy viewing fast cars, boats, motorcycles and more as they line up on Osage Beach Parkway West of the Grand Glaize Bridge. There will also be food booths and other vendors, along with music and entertainment from 4-9 PM.

June 3 - Lake Race Meet & Greet Street Party

Race fans will experience everything unique about Lake Race during the street party on the Historic Bagnell Dam Strip. Meet the drivers and get up close and personal with the race boats from 4-11 PM. There will also be live entertainment and a Kid's Zone!

June 4 - Race Day

Opening ceremony will take place at 10:40 AM at Beavers at the Dam. Powerboat Racing commences at 11 AM. There will be unlimited public viewing at Beavers on the Historic Bagnell Dam Strip and at numerous other locations surrounding the course. All heats should be complete around 5 PM. When the races are over, stick around to cheer on the drivers during the awards ceremony at 7 PM. Entertainment will be available at various spots along the Strip from 6-11 PM for the after party!

June 5 - Lake Race 5K and Lake Race Props & Hoses Fun Run

Sunday morning continue the fun with the Lake Race 5K Walk or Run. The race will start at Beavers at the Dam at 9 AM and an awards ceremony will follow on the upper patio at Beavers. Starting at 10 AM, grab your boat and head to Beavers for the Lake Race Props and Hoses Fun Run! The event starts at Beavers and ends at Redhead Yacht Club, with various stops in between. Raffle tickets for a 50/50 drawing will be available for $20 at each participating location.

Summerset Boat Lifts is a Proud Sponsor of Lake Race 2015!

Lake Race is back for another great year! Watch boats from all across the country compete this weekend at this annual Lake of the Ozarks boating event. The event is fun for all ages and you can even meet the races and see their boats up close! Summerset Boat Lifts is a proud sponsor of this event and we have all the details here for you:

Schedule of Events

Wednesday, June 3

6 PM - Lake Race Volunteer gathering at Beavers at the Dam. Volunteers will receive their assignments and shirts.

Thursday, June 4

6 PM - Lake Race VIP reception on the lower patio at Camden on the Lake, for all sponsors, races and committee members. Sponsors can pick up their information packets, visit with racers and steering committee members.

Friday, June 5

9 AM - The lower Bagnell Dam Strip area will be closed to traffic and Race Village setup will begin. Vendors are encouraged to be there to set up by noon.
5 PM - Race Village setup complete.
6 PM - Lake Race Street Party on Historic Bagnell Dam Strip begins. Open to the public to enjoy a family fun area, meet iwth the Race Teams and see the boats up close.
8:30 PM - Entertainment on the street with The Patrick Lentz Band from Kansas City.
