4 Benefits of Owning a Galva-Hoist Boat Lift

No matter what brand of boat or dock you have, the Galva-Hoist boat lift is a must. It provides great value and performance. Keep reading to learn about the benefits of owning a Galva-Hoist boat lift from Summerset Boat Lifts.

1. Galva-Hoist is Lake of the Ozarks Made.

Why choose the Galva-Hoist over other brands of boat lifts? The Galva-Hoist line of floating boat lifts is manufactured at the Lake, for the Lake... Lake of the Ozarks that is. This lift is specifically designed to and extremely capable of withstanding the roughest waters at the Lake of the Ozarks.

2. Protect Your Boat From Damage.

During the summer months, the lake waters can get pretty rough, especially if your boat dock is on the main channel rather than back in a cove. When your boat is sitting in your dock and those rough waters hit, the boat can move around in the slip, bumping into the dock and causing damage to your boat and/or your dock. Having your boat up on a boat lift at the Lake of the Ozarks will reduce the likelihood of that damage.

3. Get Dry Storage in a Wet Environment.

When your boat is on a lift, it is raised up out of the water. Keeping your boat dry prevents algae from building up on the bottom of your boat. This reduces the amount of time and effort you have to put into cleaning your boat. The lift creates a dry storage space in a wet environment. No need to take your boat out of the water and store it somewhere else when not in use. During the winter months, you can keep your boat up on the lift and then it's ready to launch when spring rolls back around.

4. Reduce Your Boat Maintenance Costs.

By keeping your boat up over the waterline, you're not only decreasing the amount of cleaning needed, but also the amount of maintenance. Keeping your boat dry helps prevent excess wear and tear that's caused by the water and things in the water. For example, you won't need to repaint the bottom of your boat as often. You can also avoid issues in the boats structure due to wet storage and decrease the chances of needing repairs due to damage from floating debris.

The best part about our Galva-Hoist boat lifts at the Lake of the Ozarks is that they come in all shapes and sizes to meet your needs. From personal watercraft lifts all the way to custom 46,000 lb lifts, we have you covered! Give Summerset Boat Lifts a call at 573-348-5073 for all your Lake of the Ozarks boat lift needs.
