The Great Bagnell Dam Duck Drop & Duck Drop Golf Tournament are two of the most fun events at the Lake of the Ozarks. The Quackiest Golf Tournament at the Lake!

FRIDAY - July 31st, 2020
The Golf Club at Deer Chase
4-Person Scramble
Noon Registration & Lunch
1:30 PM Shotgun Start with Lunch and Check-in starting at 12:00 PM
$125 per PLAYER
Awards Ceremony at the Ridge Grill after play!

The Main Duck Drop Event!

The Fun Zone
Bring kids of all ages down to the Lake Ozark Campground & RV Park below the Bagnell Dam for a family fun zone complete with games, bounce houses, martial arts and dance demonstrations, food, and lots of fun prizes! The Fun Zone opens at 10:00am and Duck Drop tickets can be purchased until 11:00am sharp!

Official Duck Drop
Walk down the viewing area just past the Lake Ozark Campground & RV Park office. Ducks will be dropped at 12:00pm from a helicopter, as well as pontoon boats along the river. After the ducks fly, the first 1 duck to race across the finish line will get the grand $5,000 prize! A total of 11 ducks will receive prizes!

Family Fun Zone 
Fun Zone Open at 10:00 AM 
Ducks Fly @ Noon!

Schedule of Events:
10:00 AM Saturday
Bring your family of all ages down to the Lake Ozark Campground & RV Park below the dam for a family fun zone with games, kid-friendly activities, and lots of prizes and goodies! 

Purchase Duck Drop tickets at the Fun Zone until 11:00AM for $5 each or 6 for $20 for your chance to win $5000 (plus 10 other GREAT prizes!)

11:45 AM Saturday
Make your way from the Fun Zone over to the campground area river access to watch the ducks drop from the helicopter and boats into the Osage River. Once the ducks fly, watch them race to the finish line to see who the top winners will be!

NOON Saturday
Look up -- the ducks will fly down into the river and the race is on! The first 11 ducks to cross the finish line will win prizes, including a $5000 cash prize and a $1000 cash prize.

12:30 - 1:00 Saturday
Enjoy the Fun Zone and enjoy more games while we await the winners with your family. Winners will be announced at the Fun Zone by 1:00. (You do not need to be present to win.)

This Weekend's Forecast: Raining Ducks

Start your Saturday off with the Duck Drop 5K Waddle Run! Then waddle on over to the Family Fun Zone and wait for the Ducks to Start Flying at Noon. Join us under the Dam for the 6th Annual Great Dam Duck Drop! Tickets will be on sale up until 11 AM Saturday for $5 each, with a chance to win $5,000 or many other great prizes!  Check out the details below:

Duck Drop 5K Waddle Run 


Registration is $25 per runner/walker and children under 12 are free!  Each entry receives an event T-Shirt.  Registration begins at 7 AM on Saturday at the Dam Bait Shop & Campground and the Race starts at 8 AM.

Family Fun Zone 


The Family Fun Zone opens at 10 AM Saturday and will be better than ever!  The event will feature pony rides, bounce houses, face painting, great food, fun games and prizes for the entire family, Martial Arts demonstrations, Dance demonstrations, a LIVE DJ and so much more!



Duck Drop


The ducks start flying at Noon and someone will win $5,000! You can walk to the viewing area from the Family Fun Zone just PAST the Dam Bait Shop on the shoreline at the Campground. Ducks will be dropped from the helicopter, as well as from Pontoon Boats in the river. They will then "race" to the finish line! The first duck to cross the finish line wins $5,000 and 11 additional ducks will win prizes too!

All funds raised remain local & are distributed to non-profit organizations via the Ozark Coast Kiwanis Organization.  For more information on this event, please visit: GreatDamDuckDrop.com.
