Lift Options to Fit Your Unique Needs

Your boat provides fun and entertainment for your friends and family all spring, summer, and fall. It's time for you to protect your investment with the right lift for your boat's unique needs. As the best boat lift company at the Lake of the Ozarks, we're thrilled to showcase a few of our boat lift options. If you're curious about which lift is best for your vessel, our team at Summerset Boat Lifts will be happy to help you find the right one!

P-80 Boat Lift

Our 8,000 lb boat lifts have become very popular as the size of modern tritoons with different engine configurations have demanded a bit more capacity. 26 to 28’ bow riders remain a popular boating choice on Lake of the Ozarks as well.
Capacity: 8,000 lbs.

P-140 Boat Lift

The 14,000 lb lift is built on the foundation of the 12,000… by simply increasing the length of tank capacity rises to handle 32 to 34’ boats and can also be the correct choice to handle the extra weight of mechanism, structure and walkways in a wide-well situation.
Capacity: 14,000 lbs.

P-170 Boat Lift

The 17,000 lb lift caps off the trio of 6-arm mechanisms available. Capable of lifting many of the 34 and 35 foot day cruisers, the 17,000lb lift is again “best in class”. In the “go fast” line of boats, the 17,000lb lift handles many 42’s with triples.
Capacity: 17,000 lbs.

P-380 Boat Lift

Built custom just for you! Your exquisite taste demands the best in boat lifts, visit us at Summerset Boat Lifts!! We are well-known for Lifting Your Dreams… From Canoes to Cruisers!
Capacity: 38,000 lbs.

Boat Lift Walkway

We also install walkway platforms to accommodate your boat lift needs. Whether your slip is larger than your boat or you're looking for a safer way to board, a walkway can meet your needs! If you have children or elderly adults who board your boat, it's a great safety feature to add. It makes getting on and off your boat a breeze for all ages!

Spring Boat Lift Maintenance Checks

As boating season nears you may start preparing for your first time out on the lake this spring. Before you lower the boat for the first time this season, there are a few boat lift maintenance checks you'll want to perform on your Lake of the Ozarks boat lift. Ensuring your lift is ready for the first movement of the seasons can help prevent any damage or further damage to your lift. Here at Summerset Boat Lifts, we've provided a list of things you should check as you gear up for boating season.

Inspect Lift for Damage

If your lift has visible damage, it's important to have that repaired as soon as possible. A broken brace or support arm could cause your lift to fail and your boat to end up damaged and in the water. If you notice a broken piece on your lift, it's best to stay away from the boat as it could fall at anytime and contact a boat lift maintenance company at the Lake of the Ozarks immediate.

Check for Clearance

The winter months mean lower lake levels. Ensure your lift has adequate clearance below your slip. Hitting the rough and rocky ground can cause damage to your lift. From jolting and knocking the bracing lose to a rock puncturing a tank, there are many potential dangers that lurk at the bottom of the lake for your boat lift. Another thing to consider is any other items that may have moved underneath the water. Ensure your lift is clear of any tree stump or other underwater obstacle that may have shifted locations throughout the winter months

Lubricate Moving Parts

The moving joints of your boat lift have been stationary for the past few months. With the freezing temps and mixed in warm days, the moving parts may have some extra friction. Before lowering your lift, lubricate the lift arms and joints to ensure a smooth transition through the stages of the lift can be achieved by these brackets.

Schedule Lift Maintenance

It's best to have a professional come check over your lift before you can be certain it's ready for the busy boating season ahead. Our maintenance crew can be over to your dock and inspecting your lift in no time! Contact us today to schedule your boat lift service at the Lake of the Ozarks.

What are you waiting for? Now's the perfect time to ensure your lift is ready for some boating action this spring and summer! If you're not up for performing these maintenance checks yourself, contact the best boat lift company at the Lake of the Ozarks to schedule your maintenance. Summerset Boat Lifts is here for all of your boat lift needs. From boat lift maintenance at the Lake of the Ozarks to installing a new boat lift, we have you and your boat covered!

Prevent Ice Damage with a De-Icer

We're in the thick of the freezing temps and winter weather but it's not too late to protect your water investments this winter! If you're worried about ice forming around your dock, keep the water moving with a dock de-icer at the Lake of the Ozarks! Our boat lift company at the Lake of the Ozarks wants to help you protect the investments you care so much about. From your dock to your lift to your boat, it's important to keep the water moving around your dock. It's especially important if it's a colder than normal winter or you're in a shallow cove. Learn some of the reasons you should install a de-icer around your dock today!

1) Erase Worry About Your Dock and Lift This Winter

If you have a de-icer you don't have to worry about the water freezing by your dock. The de-icer will keep the water moving, therefore, preventing the ice from becoming solid. This can also help prevent you from having to go down to your dock in the freezing temperatures and checking on your dock all the time. When it's that cold outside you should be able to stay in the warmth of your home.

2) Keep Your Investments in Good Condition

You spend a lot of money on your water toys - protect what you've worked so hard for with a de-icer. This can help protect your dock, boat, and lift by lowering the chance of ice to form and causing damage to your property.

3) Help Prevent Damage to Your Property

Ice can cause dock, lift, and/or boat damage in a number of ways. If your dock has ice all around it, it is unable to move like it naturally does. This can actually cause your dock lines to snap due to excessive tension. Your dock floats can also be damaged from ice forming against or hitting the tubs. Ice can cause your boat lift to malfunction and in some cases leave your boat to fall into the water.

Now that you know a few of the most common benefits of a de-icer at the Lake of the Ozarks, you're ready to get yours installed. Contact our Lake of the Ozarks boat lift company and we'll get your de-icer ready to be installed and start protecting your dock this winter. Give us a call today at 573-348-5073.

Is Your Boat Lift Covered Under Your Insurance Policy?

What's the first thing you do when you buy a new home, car or boat? You insure it! So why would your boat lift be any different. You need to make sure your total investment in your boating lifestyle - which includes the boat, dock, lift and accessories - is protected. Your current insurance policies may not include your new boat lift at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Boat Insurance

Every boat owner should check their policy to see what exactly is covered. Standard boat coverage usually applies to watercraft with motors, fishing boats, pontoons, leisure craft and yachts. It may cover collision damage, property damage liability, bodily injury liability, or comprehensive for your boat. However, it doesn't typically include PWCs or small watercraft and boat lifts are also not usually included.

Boat Lift Coverage

Most boat and boat dock protection policies do not include other equipment like boat lifts and hoists, unless you purchase a premium package or specifically add coverage for it. Therefore, it is important that you add it to your existing policy or purchase a separate policy to cover it. In case of dock failure or extreme circumstances, you want to make sure your investment in a Lake of the Ozarks boat lift is protected. Boat lifts are a valuable piece of equipment and can cost a lot to replace if not properly insured. Be sure to check your homeowners policy as well to see if it would include a boat lift before investing in additional coverage.

Make sure to purchase a policy that meets your needs. You don't want more coverage than the lift is worth, but you also want to make sure that you're covered for most scenarios and situations that could happen to your boat lift. Try to get your boat lift insurance at the same place as your boat and homeowners insurance because often times you can take advantage of bundling discounts. Be sure to keep Summerset Boat Lifts in mind if you do need to file a claim and have your boat lift repaired or replaced.
